Chick Pea Salad

Very delicious turkish salad.
250 gr. chick peas
1/3 cup sesame oil
2-3 lemons
3/5 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Firstly soak chick peas in warm water overnight. Boil chick peas in a saucepan with a lot of water. Second strain the chick peas and puree them. Thirdly blend the sesame oil with the puree of chick peas. Then add lemon juice to the mixture . Later add the red pepper and salt.

Turkish Bean Salad

Very delicious, simple and fresh salad with white beans. The beans add a substantial amount of protein and fiber. you can use if you want, white wine vinegar for the lemon juice.

8 ounces of White Beans, soaked overnight
1 Cup of Curly Parsley, coarsely chopped
1 sweet pepper
1 Cucumber
1 Large tomato
1 Hardboiled egg
1 Small bunch of fresh dill
1/4 Cup Olive oil
1/4 Cup lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

chop the parsley and dill, mix well then dice the other vegetables and egg, and place in a bowl with the parsley and dill. Toss the vegetables together well with the olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Spread the vegetables on a plate, and top with the soaked, white beans
