4 carrots, shredded
1 apple - peeled, cored and shredded
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds
salt and pepper to taste


In a bowl, combine the carrots, apple, lemon juice, honey, almonds, salt and pepper. Toss and chill before serving.

3 large cucumbers, peeled, thinly sliced
1 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
dash red hot pepper
dash dried parsley
dash black pepper
dash basil

please combine all ingredients except cucumbers and heat until sugar melts then pour over cucumber and store in an airtight container. Keeps well for several days.

Green Bean Salad

Green Bean Salad recipe.. very taste, good.. salad
2 (16 ounce) cans whole green beans, drained
6 Tb vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 med. onion, sliced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
6 to 8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
6 to 8 hard boiled eggs, diced
6 Tb salad dressing
4 tsp vinegar
4 tsp prepared mustard


Combine first 6 ingredients; refrigerate several hours or overnight. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Chill well; stir before serving.

Vegetable Salad recipe

Vegetable Salad is my another favorite recipe..methods:

1 bunch broccoli, separate in florets
1 head cauliflower, separate in florets
6 green onions, chopped fine
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
2 stalks celery, chopped fine
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 package Ranch salad dressing


Combine all vegetables. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and Ranch dressing mix. Pour over vegetables and toss until coated.

Black Bean Salad

it is very easy to make black Bean Salad recipe.. lets make it..


1 16 oz can black beans - drained & rinsed
1 17 oz can whole kernel corn - drained
1 cup diced red bell pepper
4 green onions - chopped
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup nonfat Italian salad dressing


Combine all except the last ingredient. Pour dressing over mixture and toss well.

Caesar Salad recipe

3 heads Romaine lettuce
1 large or 2 medium cloves of garlic, minced
2 teaspoons pureed anchovy
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 ounces extra virgin olive oil
3 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

firstly remove the outer leaves of the Romaine heads, separate the remaining leaves and wash to remove all the grit. Cut into small pieces and reserve. In a non-reactive salad bowl, mash the anchovies and garlic together. Add the dry mustard and the Worcestershire sauce, mixing well. Incorporate the lemon juice and slowly pour in the olive oil until an emulsion forms.

1 pound of cooked pasta, chilled
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 green pepper, cut in small chunks
1 whole boneless chicken breast, cooked and cut into small pieces
1 scraped and grated carrot
1/4 cup sliced green stuffed olives
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, sliced thin
small tin of green peas, drained
1 cup kidney beans, rinsed
1/2 salt free peanuts or walnuts
1/2 Catalina Dressing or Bleu Cheese dressing

Directions for this salad: first mix everything together, adding more dressing on individual servings if desired.

Waldorf Salad recipe

Waldorf Salad is a summer salad. it ingredients

2 cups (2 med-large) diced red delicious apple
1 cup diced celery
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
2 heaping Tablespoonfuls Miracle Whip light
mayonnaise dressing (or nonfat salad dressing)
1 teaspoon honey
dash lemon juice


Combine ingredients and chill to ice-cold. If desired, serve on lettuce and garnish with green grapes or maraschino cherries

1/3 c Vinegar
1 lg Egg
1 tb Paprika
1 tb Sugar
1 ts Salt
1 ds Cayenne Pepper
1 c Salad Oil

Directions: firstly put the vinegar, egg, paprika, sugar, salt, and cayenne into a bender container and blend until combined. With the blender running slowly, gradually pour the salad oil into the blender container.
